Judge rejects bid to release Arizona sheriff’s office from supervision in racial profiling case
A judge previously found that an Arizona sheriff's office had racially profiled Hispanic people during immigration enforcement operations. The court placed the sheriff's office under ongoing supervision as a result. Recently, the sheriff's office requested to end this court supervision, but the judge has now rejected that request.
