Albert Lea hotel closes following room fire caused by arson
(ABC 6 News) — Albert Lea Fire and Rescue says a hotel has closed following a room fire that the department says was caused by arson. The City of Albert Lea and the hotel owner made the decision to close the hotel after an inspection found health hazards life safety issues on Sept. 29th.
