A second Taliban official is killed in attack in Afghanistan, as the takeover anniversary nears

A Taliban official in Afghanistan was killed in an explosion. This happened as the Taliban approaches the anniversary of taking control of the country. At least one other Taliban official has also been killed recently in an attack.
