Sri Lankan court sentences 15 men to life in prison for roles in deadly 2019 Easter bombings
In 2019, bombings during Easter in Sri Lanka killed 267 people. A court has now convicted 15 men for their roles in the attacks and sentenced each of them to at least 200 years in prison. Nine other defendants were acquitted, and one was found guilty of only some charges. The cases have been resolved.
