TSA pre-check gate access policy: Program allows non-travelers past security
The Transportation Security Administration has launched a new program that allows people without plane tickets to pass through airport security at certain locations. The program, called a visitor-pass initiative, is available at 13 airports and requires participants to have a TSA PreCheck credential or another trusted-traveler number to gain approval. The free program appears designed to let non-travelers access secured airport areas.
