Hochul appoints Letitia James as special prosecutor in Cornell sexual assault case
A former Cornell University student has alleged she was raped at a fraternity house near campus in October 2024. New York Governor Kathy Hochul has appointed state Attorney General Letitia James to serve as special prosecutor to investigate the allegations. Both Hochul and James are Democrats. The investigation is now underway.
