15 NY sheriffs join lawsuit over Gov. Hochul's ICE restrictions

New York passed a law restricting local sheriffs from working with federal immigration authorities. About 15 sheriffs sued Governor Hochul and the state's attorney general, claiming the law overrides their authority. A political challenger to Hochul said he would follow the law but also joined the lawsuit challenging it.
