Pope to speak on EU integration from French border town of Metz
Pope Leo XIV is on a multi-country tour in 2026 that includes stops in France, Peru, Uruguay, and other locations. He arrived in Paris on September 25 for a four-day visit, his first to France in 18 years. The trip is drawing large crowds and prompting tourism and infrastructure planning in the cities he visits. He is scheduled to celebrate an open-air mass for around 600,000 people in Paris.
